"Technology is changing what and how we learn, so we need to learn what and how to change", is an oft-quoted quote from Jeroen. Education and L&D sometimes struggle to internalise new technological developments and adapt their organisations to them, and there is sometimes much grumbling about this. But this is often unjustified. In Jeroen's view, we need to "go back to the future", i.e. combine the best of what education and L&D has to offer (i.e. the irreplaceable human-side of all passionate professionals) with the best that technology has to offer (i.e. taking over tasks that prevent people from being able to do their work optimally and get the best out of themselves).
